The Haude Elementary PTO is a group of parents, grandparents, and teachers who work together to enrich the school experience for every student, support the staff who teach them, and build the kind of community where families know one another by name. Join for the year, pick something that fits your schedule, and we will take care of the rest.

More ways than you might expect. Some families read to a classroom once a month. Some bake for the Fall Festival cake walk. Some send a single photo to the yearbook committee and call it a year. Choose how much time you can give and what you enjoy, and we will show you a few good matches. You do not need an account to look.
Hover or tap to switch. Anything on campus or around students requires the annual Klein ISD volunteer application, which is free and takes only a few minutes to complete online.
The 2026–27 board is a group of Haude parents who give their evenings so the school year has its best moments: the Fall Festival on the first Sunday in November, the flags that line the front of the school on Veterans Day, the pies that arrive for the staff the week before Thanksgiving, and the cookies and stories with Santa in December. Every one of those is planned, funded, and staffed by volunteers.
"Every event, program, and initiative is made possible through the support of our volunteers and families. Together, we create a school where students and staff feel supported, celebrated, and connected."
Five things, all year long. Choose one to see how it works and where you could fit in.
Sunday, November 8, from 1 to 4 pm. Admission is free. Come celebrate the Haude community with fall games, food, shopping from local vendors, and activities for the whole family. Punch cards for games and concessions are $8 and $15 during presale, which ends Friday, November 6 at noon. Everyone who buys during presale is entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card and receives a fifteen-minute early admission pass. All proceeds benefit Haude Elementary.

Short answers, so you can decide tonight and get back to dinner.
You can do either, and many families do both. Membership gives you a vote on how the PTO spends its money. Volunteering is open to anyone with an approved Klein ISD application.

Classroom Readers visit a PK through second grade class on a schedule, during the school day. Event volunteers take a shift at the Fall Festival, the Book Fair, or Veterans Day. Both are needed, and both count.

Membership is purchased online through the PTO's Zeffy page, which lists the current membership levels. Any parent, guardian, grandparent, or Haude staff member may join, and membership lasts for the school year. Members have voting privileges at general meetings on items brought before the membership.
No. Your membership supports the PTO's programs on its own. Volunteering is a separate choice, and you can start or stop at any point in the year.
Complete the Klein ISD Volunteer Application through the district's Raptor system at tinyurl.com/KleinVolunteer. The application includes a background check, is free, and must be submitted again each school year. Once you receive the district's email confirming you are cleared, you can sign up for classroom reading, event shifts, or a committee.
Back into Haude. The PTO funds and runs the Fall Festival, teacher and staff appreciation, family events such as S.L.A.M. Night and Cookies and Stories with Santa, the Multicultural Festival, Veterans Day flags, and the yearbook. The treasurer reports to the membership at general meetings.
Yes. Grandparents are welcome as classroom readers and event volunteers, with the same Klein ISD application. Working parents often choose evening and weekend events, the Dads of Haude group, or jobs that can be done from home, such as sending photos to the yearbook.
Follow the Haude Elementary PTO on Facebook, check the calendar on this site, and read the newsletters the board sends out through the school year. Questions can go to haudeelementarypto@gmail.com.
"I read one picture book to my son's kindergarten class. He has asked every day since when I'm coming back."
"I work full time, so the Fall Festival on a Sunday afternoon was perfect. I ran a game booth for an hour and my kids played the rest of the time."
"Putting out the flags for Veterans Day with my granddaughter is something I'll remember for a long time."
"The application took five minutes. I had no idea it would be that easy to get started."
These are sample notes shown for layout. The board will replace them with words from Haude families. They are not marked up as ratings.
There are some real perks to being a member. Members have voting privileges at general meetings and can cast a vote on items brought before the membership. It is the simplest way to have a voice in what the PTO does for your child's school. Membership levels and pricing are on our Zeffy page, and every dollar stays at Haude.
